These versatile wigs can be treated just like your own hair — and can be curled and styled in any number of ways. These styles also tend to be a bit heavier and thicker, and may need to be trimmed to suit your features. Since they do not come prestyled, and only hold a style as long as your own hair would, they require more effort than synthetic wigs. Human hair wigs are a good idea if you are skilled at styling your own hair, and don't mind doing it every day.

Human hair wigs tend to have more hair and will most likely require more trimming and reshaping than a synthetic wig. Cutting can be done without harm to hair fiber. Again, the effect should still be subtle, making the style suit your own unique features.
Sometimes a wig fresh out of the box will have creases or bumps from the packaging. Heat can be used for styling a Human Hair Wig. Use a medium setting with electric rollers or hair dryer. With hair dryer about 12" from wig, circulate heat evenly and continuously.
You can spritz some water on the hair and comb out. You can also use specially formulated wig spray-on conditioner to soften the style and make it more manageable for trimming. This gives the style a more finished look.
Stylist Tip: It's important to use styling products that are specially formulated for use on wigs. Know that using any other salon styling products may cause build-up or dry out the wig.
